Welcome to the Korea Association of Robot Industry (KAR).

Since our establishment in 1999, KAR has served as a steadfast partner to the robotics community, playing a central role in advancing Korea’s robotics industry.

Today, the robotics sector is experiencing encouraging shifts, with increased investment, stronger government support, and improved regulatory frameworks. As we move forward, we are committed to identifying areas for improvement and further developing what we do best.

Given the vast and diverse nature of the robotics industry, it cannot be confined to a single framework. KAR has classified the industry into seven major sectors, each supported by seven tailored ecosystems. For each ecosystem, we are developing targeted action plans to foster growth and innovation.

As a collaborative community, KAR is dedicated to delivering tangible benefits to our member companies. We will strengthen the roles of our executive members, enabling them to serve as national representatives in their respective fields.

To become a better and more meaningful community, we must dare to dream bigger. Robotics is not a field that yields results easily; it demands perseverance and long-term effort. We aim to open doors together, learn continuously as an organization, and foster deeper, more sincere connections within our community.
